California Teacher Threatens Students with Detention for Questioning Controversial LGBT ‘Pride Month’ Video

In a recent incident at Edison High School located in Huntington Beach, California, students were filmed expressing disapproval over an LGBT so-called “Pride Month” video played during a math class, according to a report from Information Liberation.

The teacher’s response to their displeasure was a threat of Saturday school detention.

Footage has surfaced where a student voices their confusion, questioning, “Why are you showing this to kids?”

This query arose during the initial scene of the Pride Month video, which featured two women engaged in a kiss.

Reacting to the disapproving reaction from the students, the math teacher laid down a firm caution: “I’ll warn you guys now, if you’re going to be inappropriate I will have supervision down and give all of you Saturday school.”

According to information shared by conservative activist Robby Starbuck, the controversial video was not just shown during math class.

Several 10th-grade students reportedly approached him with information that this video was displayed in all classes on that particular day.

“They’re upset about it and want the school to refrain from playing videos like this,” Starbuck added, emphasizing the students’ discomfort and their hope that the school would avoid airing such videos in the future.
