California Anti-ICE Posters Expose Agents’ Personal Information

Anti-ICE activists have shared posters with the personal information of agents in a Southern California neighborhood.

The posters, written in Spanish, translate to: “CAREFUL WITH THESE FACES,” Fox News reports. “These armed agents work in Southern California. ICE and HSI racially terrorize and criminalize entire communities with their policies. They kidnap people from their homes and from the streets, separating families and fracturing communities. Many people have died while locked up in jails, prisons, and detention centers.”

The posters share agents’ names, pictures, and phone numbers.

Those behind the posters remain unknown.

A Homeland Security spokesperson told the outlet that the “pathetic activists are putting targets on the backs of our law enforcement as they shield MS-13, Tren De Aragua and other vicious gangs that traffic women and children, kidnap for ransom and poison Americans with lethal drugs. These individuals will be held accountable for obstructing the law and justice. This shouldn’t be controversial.”

A Los Angeles FBI spokesperson similarly stated that anyone who “impedes law enforcement operations, potentially threatening the safety of law enforcement agents and subjects of their investigations” may be prosecuted.

The posters come as anti-ICE activists have hindered raids in the Los Angeles area.

The group Community Self-Defense Coalition told KTLA that members have launched patrols of Los Angeles streets to notify the public of ICE activity. The group’s actions have stopped ICE in Alhambra and San Fernando.

Ron Gochez, a representative of the immigration group Union del Barrio, claimed its presence prevented migrant arrests. “Our people had megaphones, and they called for backup of our folks, and they went to both locations,” he stated.

ICE stated its activity was an intelligence-driven effort targeting individuals with criminal records.
