Border Failure Sparks Unprecedented Patriot Surge to Join USCIS

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it has received a historic number of applications since its September 30 campaign launch.

USCIS has received more than 35,000 applications for positions within the agency, a move officials say reflects the desire for Americans to “restore integrity to the nation’s immigration system after four years of Biden’s border chaos.” The agency explained that it has cut bureaucratic tape to place patriots on the “front lines and hold the line against terrorists, criminal aliens, and bad actors intent on infiltrating our nation.”

“The Homeland Defender Campaign has already been a tremendous success and has resonated with the American people. I’m pleased to announce that in addition to seeing a historic number of applications, we are starting to bring on applicants at a rapid pace,” said USCIS Director Joseph Edlow. “USCIS is not wasting time; we are committed to implementing President Trump’s priorities. These candidates are not just applying for a job—they are applying to guard our values and defend our homeland. I look forward to onboarding many more Homeland Defenders in the coming weeks.”

Meanwhile, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem told Fox News that more than 200,000 Americans have applied to be ICE agents. As of August, more than 100,000 Americans had applied to be an agent.

“Our country is calling you to serve at ICE. In the wake of the Biden administration’s failed immigration policies, your country needs dedicated men and women of ICE to get the worst of the worst criminals out of our country,” Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement at the time. “This is a defining moment in our nation’s history. Your skills, your experience, and your courage have never been more essential. Together, we must defend the homeland.”
