Biden Proposes New Funding for Development of Another COVID Vaccine

During a brief interaction with journalists on his recent vacation at Lake Tahoe, President Joe Biden disclosed his move to approach Congress for funds aimed at a new COVID vaccine.

He remarked, “I signed off this morning on a proposal this morning, to have, to present to the congress a request for addiitonal funding for a new vaccine that works and tentatively, not decided finally yet, it will likely be recommended that everybody get it,” Townhall reports.

The Townhall report notes the actions taken by President Biden in September 2021, when he pushed vaccination across the private sector through OSHA.

Biden had laid down robust mandates.

“The expansive rules mandate that all employers with more than 100 workers require them to be vaccinated or test for the virus weekly, affecting about 80 million Americans. And the roughly 17 million workers at health facilities that receive federal Medicare or Medicaid also will have to be fully vaccinated,” the report highlighted.

Furthermore, an executive order was signed by Biden that necessitated “vaccination for employees of the executive branch and contractors who do business with the federal government — with no option to test out.”

The latter mandate encompassed several million additional American workers.
