Biden Disapproval Rating at 57%: McLaughlin National Survey

Well over half of Americans disapprove of Joe Biden’s job performance.

  • 56% of likely voters hold an “unfavorable” view of Kamala Harris, according to the survey, just 39% holding a “favorable” one.
  • Nancy Pelosi fared worse, receiving a 61% “unfavorable” rating among voters, only 33% viewing her favorably.
BACKGROUND:
  • 61% of likely voters prefer “free market capitalism” over “big government socialism,” according to the McLaughlin survey, 15% wanting “big government socialism.”
  • 62% say the U.S. economy is “getting worse,” compared to 30% who say it’s getting “better.”
  • 52% want a “smaller government,” compared to 34% wanting a “larger” one.
  • 36% of American’s polled in the survey identified as Republican, 37% Democrat.
