Authorities Identify Those Involved in Rainbow Bridge Accident

The Niagara Falls Police Department revealed that the individuals killed in the Rainbow Bridge car accident were Kurt and Monica Villani.

The married couple resided in Grand Island, New York.

According to The Daily Mail, the couple had been experiencing problems with the gas pedal.

Grand Island residents paid tribute to the couple.

“You know, just plowing everybody’s driveway for the love of it, you know what I mean? Just always willing to help and lend a hand. Always. always, always. They were just so very, kind wonderful people,” said one resident.

“Without ever being asked, they would just be giving and gifting, and that’s the type of people we lost,” another individual stated.

While initial reports of the crash alleged the incident was a terrorist attack, an FBI investigation concluded, “A search of the scene revealed no explosive materials, and no terrorism nexus was identified. The matter has been turned over to the Niagara Falls Police Department as a traffic investigation.”
