Linda Sarsour, an anti-Israel activist, has been arrested after leading a protest inside the U.S. Capitol building.
Some called the protest an “insurrection,” comparing the event to January 6.
“Insurrection happening now in the Capital!! Is that Linda Sarsour leading the Pro-Hamas Anti-Israel insurrectionists? Very serious ties to terrorists & Progressive Democrats if it’s her,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) wrote on X. “Arrest them all and throw them in the DC gulag in solitary confinement just like J6’ers!”

The protestors held signs reading, “The people choose life. Ceasefire now” and “Protect immigrants + asylees.”
“No more weapons, no more war, freedom’s what we’re fighting for!” the group chanted. “Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crimes!”
Dozens of pro-Palestine protestors recently occupied the Hart Senate office building.
The protestors were later removed from the premises, with 49 of the demonstrators getting arrested.
