Airplane Flies Over Ivy League University With Banner: ‘Harvard Hates Jews’

A video shows a banner flying over Harvard University reading, “Harvard Hates Jews.”

According to a local news outlet, a group reportedly presenting Jewish students said the banner was to circle Harvard for “several days.”

The banner was not designed to be antisemitic, but to call out the antisemitism present on the university’s campus.

The Anti-Defamation League of New England called the display “disturbing.”

“We are aware of this plane flying over RI and MA towing a disturbing banner, and continue to investigate,” the group tweeted.

The airplane banner comes as universities are being investigated for antisemitism.

“After this week’s pathetic and morally bankrupt testimony by university presidents when answering my questions, the Education and Workforce Committee is launching an official Congressional investigation with the full force of subpoena power into Penn, MIT, & Harvard and others,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), according to Boston’s Fox 25 News. “We will use our full Congressional authority to hold these schools accountable for their failure on the global stage.”
