Air Base Drones Trigger a Police Scramble Nobody and Raise Serious Questions

Newly released police logs and footage have revived serious questions about air base drones that forced a U.K. police helicopter into evasive action near a U.S. air base last year—despite officials initially brushing off the incident as a routine fighter jet sighting. The Daily Mail obtained the documents through Britain’s Freedom of Information Act, and they show a far more dramatic encounter than authorities previously acknowledged.

According to the logs, the Nov. 22, 2024, flight turned dangerous when a National Police Air Service crew reported “unidentified aerial objects” closing in on their aircraft. The helicopter’s equipment captured fast-moving lights that “contradict official explanations of a near-collision.” Investigators had originally insisted the pilots had simply seen a standard fighter jet, but the logs and cockpit footage point to multiple objects maneuvering at speeds and angles that didn’t match aircraft in the area.

The logs also note that the crew saw objects “vanishing” after the near-miss. That description has fueled public concern, especially because the encounter happened near a busy military installation. For many observers, the issue isn’t extraterrestrial speculation—it’s national security. If unknown operators can fly devices close enough to endanger a police aircraft, transparency becomes critical.

The officers involved provided no sensational interpretation, but their documented observations challenge the official narrative and raise new questions about who controls these devices and why they appeared near restricted airspace.
