“Abortion pills forever! Abortion pills forever!” they chant.
A group of abortion activists ate handfuls of abortion pills outside the Supreme Court in protest of its hearing about the constitutionality of Roe v Wade on Wednesday.
Yes, really.
Standing in front of a banner that read “We Are Taking Abortion Pills Forever”, the activists chanted “Abortion pills forever!”
As the Supreme Court began their oral arguments over the Mississippi-based Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organizationcase, activists from both sides of the abortion issue demonstrated in front of the Supreme Court building in Washington, separated by a steel barricade and some police.
The Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case deals with the constitutionality of a law passed in Mississippi in 2018 outlawing abortions in cases where the unborn baby was more than 15 weeks.
