Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić celebrated President Trump’s leadership during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
Vučić began his speech by declaring that the “international system as we knew it has collapsed. It no longer exists.” He explained that the world is now “witnessing the emergence of a new order increasingly structured around two principal centers of power, alongside a growing number of strong regional actors with considerable political, economic, military and technological capabilities, seeking to shape their own environments and influence broader global developments on their own terms.”
Rather than waging traditional warfare, governments are “increasingly taking the form of economic pressure, technological restrictions, competition for resources and markets, cyberattacks, disinformation and attempts to influence other societies.”
He went on to address how President Trump seeks to establish a “more just” system.
“Serbia supports the actions of the administration of President Donald Trump and sees in his work an opportunity for establishing a more just order in the world and more responsible attitude towards Serbia as a close American ally from both world wars,” Vučić said, as reported by The America Times.
Vučić went on to express optimism for the talks between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. “I owe special gratitude for the support during the COVID pandemic, as well as for paramount investment in Serbia, to the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, hoping that his talks with President Trump will be productive and that they will contribute to the stabilization of developments in the world,” he said.
During his speech before the United Nations, President Trump called out efforts to create a globalist government. “There is no global government — and while I am President, there will be no global taxes,” he stated, going on to condemn the United Nation’s promotion of mass migration while claiming to hold onto its “cultural heritage.” Trump said that with the entity’s “ceaseless promotion of mass migration, these globalists are actively destroying the greatest cultures and most extraordinary heritage in history. There is no human right to illegal immigration, but there is a right to remain a sovereign nation.”
