Trump Admin to Go After Soros-Linked Entities

The Trump administration may pursue investigations into George Soros-linked entities as part of a crackdown on questionable charities, The New York Post reports.

According to the report, Treasury officials are planning to conduct audits on those believed to be abusing tax policies. The effort could “ultimately strip non-compliant organizations of their 501(c)(3) status,” the report indicates. One of the sources speaking to The Post said officials were “like a dog with a bone” and think the groups in question, as well as their donors, are “on borrowed time.”

“There’s a lot of internal pressure to get it done, but some people are still moving too slowly at the IRS,” the source said. “That is expected to change very soon.”

Last year, President Trump said during an appearance on Fox & Friends that his administration would probe Soros for possible racketeering charges. “We’re going to look into Soros,” Trump said, “because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people. Because this is more than like protests. This is real agitation. This is riots on the street. And we’re going to look into it.”

He added that there are “professional agitators” that work for Soros-linked entities.

Trump also declared on Truth Social prior to his comments that “George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America. We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to ‘BREATHE,’ and be FREE.”
