Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) is calling upon state officials to charge Dr. Anthony Fauci for crimes against humanity.
“Dr. ‘Mengele’ Fauci may be protected by a federal pardon but that does not hold against state prosecution and civil lawsuits,” she wrote on social media. “I am calling on the great Attorneys General and Governors of FL, TX, WV, and AR to bring charges against Fauci for crimes against children in exposing them to a vaccine that has now been PROVEN to hurt people. He is and will go down in history as one of the darkest souls who has ever been in federal government.”
“There is NO JUSTICE unless he is held responsible for the crimes HE committed against HUMANITY.”
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier wrote that his office plans to investigate Fauci. “Fauci’s lack of candor to Congress is unbelievable,” he said. “My office is launching an investigation into Dr. Fauci. It’s past time we get the truth of what happened during COVID.”
The comments come as senators eviscerated Fauci during his hearing.
“Clearly, what you think today is that somehow you’re above reproach. Somehow you feel like you don’t need to be treated like a normal American,” Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH) told Fauci.
“It is a total disgrace what you did to this country, and if my Democrat colleagues are standing there defending you, I hope the voters, the United States of America, watch the clips of every one of you doting on a guy who is more interested in being a celebrity than saving American people,” Moreno added.
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) explained that Fauci does not have the right to plead the Fifth Amendment. “You don’t have any rights under the Fifth Amendment because you have been pardoned, as you very well know,” he said. “The Supreme Court has been clear for a century or more. Brown v. Walker 1896: ‘When he has been pardoned he may not stand upon his privilege.'”
“You know that, your lawyer sitting behind you shifting nervously in their chairs know it,” he continued. “This is about contempt. Contempt for this body and for the American people.”
Following Fauci’s invocation of the Fifth Amendment, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) announced that Congress will seek contempt charges. “We’re going to have a vote next week on contempt. I think there’s another legal question that the courts may have to decide upon,” he said. “And that is whether or not a presidential pardon offers you complete immunity.”
Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times.
