A new report shows Planned Parenthood’s “gender-affirming care” services jumped 40% across 14 of its largest affiliates between fiscal year 2024 and 2025, even as the organization’s national annual report made no mention of the increase.
The report was produced by the Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee and shared first with The Daily Wire. Researchers dug into regional affiliate reports after Planned Parenthood’s national report buried transgender services inside an “other procedures” catch-all category without disclosing specific numbers.
“This is several years in a row now that this number has increased despite society for the most part turning it back and reversing course on a lot of this,” Concerned Women for America legislative strategist Macy Petty told The Daily Wire in an exclusive interview. “Planned Parenthood has found a way to continue this harmful and destructive business.”
“Planned Parenthood is certainly doing everything they can to keep the conversations strictly about abortion and not their side business of transing kids,” Petty said.
The numbers are significant. Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, and Kentucky reported 24,295 gender-related services in 2025, up from 13,432 the prior year. Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio logged 8,644 transgender services in 2025, compared to 6,206 in 2024. The Pasadena affiliate went from 1,544 visits to 2,346.
The trend goes back further. Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and Northern Idaho more than doubled its transgender services since 2022-2023. Planned Parenthood of Great Plains has increased its numbers by 90% over the same period.
Services include cross-sex hormones available in person or via telehealth. Some affiliates restrict access to adults 18 and older. Others, including affiliates in California and Maryland, offer cross-sex hormones to minors as young as 16 with parental consent. Cross-sex hormones carry documented risks including infertility, heart problems, and metabolic complications.
Planned Parenthood’s Pasadena affiliate said in its annual report that it supported California legislation “extending statewide protections for gender-affirming care to people of all ages.”
Planned Parenthood also performed 434,450 abortions in fiscal year 2025, an 8% increase over the previous year and a 34% increase since 2014.
