Trump International Hotel Gold Coast Set to Dominate Australia

Eric Trump announced a major international expansion this week, revealing plans for the Trump Organization’s first venture into Australia. The project, Trump International Hotel & Tower Gold Coast, is set to become the tallest building in the country. The development signals continued global growth for the Trump brand in luxury hospitality and residential real estate.

Eric Trump confirmed the announcement in a post on X, stating that the Trump International Hotel & Tower Gold Coast will soon rise over the skyline of Australia’s famed coastal city. He described the project as a milestone for the company, marking its first entry into the Australian market. The development is expected to stand 91 stories tall, making it the tallest building in the nation.

According to a press release from the The Trump Organization, the company has partnered with Altus Property Group to launch the landmark tower. The structure will feature a 285-room luxury hotel bearing the Trump name and logo, anchoring the expansive mixed-use development. In addition to the hotel, the project will include 272 luxury residential apartments designed to appeal to high-end buyers seeking premium coastal living.

The tower will rise in Gold Coast, a well-known destination recognized for its beaches, tourism, and growing skyline. Developers plan to position the building in the central Surfers Paradise precinct, a hub of commercial and entertainment activity. Plans also call for a three-level podium featuring an exclusive Beach Club and more than 3,400 square meters of commercial, retail, and dining space. Developers say the project will help revitalize the surrounding area while elevating its international profile.

In a statement included in the press release, Eric Trump said the project reflects the company’s “unwavering commitment to delivering world-class luxury experiences.” The Trump brand has expanded in recent years across residential, hospitality, and golf properties in major markets around the globe. The Australia project adds a new continent to that growing portfolio.

Altus Founder and Chief Executive David Young emphasized the significance of the partnership. He stated that the development will bring the prestige of a globally recognized luxury brand to the Australian market. Young also pointed to Altus Property Group’s track record in delivering landmark projects across Australia, expressing confidence that the tower will stand as a defining feature of the Gold Coast skyline.

The announcement underscores the continued international demand for American-developed luxury real estate. As global markets remain competitive, the Trump Organization’s expansion into Australia highlights confidence in both the region’s economic outlook and the enduring strength of premium hospitality and residential investments.
