A group of 1,000 Christian pastors and influencers from across the United States has arrived in Israel in what organizers say is the largest evangelical solidarity mission in the nation’s history. The delegation aims to strengthen U.S. support for Israel, confront rising global antisemitism, and commission church leaders as advocates for the Jewish state. The trip is organized by the Friends of Zion Heritage Center in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
]Participants are meeting with Israeli officials, touring key sites, and hearing testimony from survivors of the October 7 Hamas massacre. Pastors visited the site of the music-festival attack, where hundreds were murdered, and many described the experience as a turning point in understanding Israel’s ongoing security struggle. The mission emphasizes the biblical connection shared between Christians and the Jewish people, highlighting a long-standing commitment among American evangelicals to stand with Israel.
Organizers describe the effort as a response to growing antisemitism across Western institutions, including universities, political movements, and cultural influencers. The goal is to equip pastors with accurate information and firsthand experience, enabling them to counter false narratives and defend Israel’s right to exist and protect its citizens. The Friends of Zion leadership said these pastors will return home as “ambassadors” for Israel within their congregations and communities.
The movement is designed to expand. Organizers announced plans to train up to one million pastors worldwide by 2026, creating a large network of Christian leaders positioned to speak out for Israel and push back against anti-Jewish hatred. For many conservative Christians, the mission reflects a broader commitment to standing with Israel as a matter of faith, moral clarity, and shared Judeo-Christian values during a time of global uncertainty.
