Clinton Letter Found in Epstein Birthday Book Released by House Oversight

The House Oversight Committee has released new files from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, including a “birthday book” prepared by Ghislaine Maxwell for Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003. Among the entries is a handwritten letter from former President Bill Clinton, drawing renewed scrutiny of his long-rumored ties to Epstein.

The book also contained a sexually suggestive sketch and message signed “Donald,” which the Wall Street Journal claimed was written by President Trump. President Trump has forcefully denied the allegation, stating that the signature is a forgery and filing a defamation lawsuit against the paper. The document’s inclusion in the estate’s records has fueled debate about authenticity and accountability, but its release highlights the explosive nature of Epstein’s connections to political and cultural elites.

Other materials provided to the committee include Epstein’s will, financial records, and a copy of the 2008 non-prosecution agreement that allowed him to avoid federal charges at the time. Lawmakers say these documents are part of an ongoing effort to uncover the full scope of Epstein’s network and the individuals who maintained ties with him before and after his criminal convictions.

Clinton has previously acknowledged flying on Epstein’s private jet several times for official work related to the Clinton Foundation, but has denied ever visiting Epstein’s private island or engaging in improper conduct. The resurfacing of his letter adds to a growing record of evidence showing the depth of his relationship with the disgraced financier.

The Oversight Committee’s release underscores the demand for transparency in how influential public figures interacted with Epstein.
