President Donald Trump said that Democrat megadonor George Soros and his son, Alex, should be hit with RICO charges due to their funding of violent protests.
“George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America. We’re not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to ‘BREATHE,’ and be FREE,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Soros, and his group of psychopaths, have caused great damage to our Country! That includes his Crazy, West Coast friends. Be careful, we’re watching you! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Community Change and Community Change Action, which organized “Free DC” demonstrations, received $12.6 million from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, the New York Post reported earlier this month. The groups also took in $5.6 million from Arabella Advisors and $1.9 million from the Tides Foundation between 2020 and 2023.
Soros-backed groups have also supported a bill that would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.
In June, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that millions of dollars were funneled into Soros-backed entities under the Biden Department of Justice. The Biden-era DOJ issued grants to the Vera Institute of Justice and Impact Justice, Soros-backed non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The Trump DOJ has since terminated the grants in line with the administration’s priority to “support law enforcement operations, combat violent crime, protect American children, support American victims of trafficking and sexual assault, and enhance coordination among law enforcement at all levels of government,” the Justice Department told Grassley in a letter.
