A new White House video released Thursday features American workers and mothers from across the nation urging the Senate to pass President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill. The legislation, a key part of Trump’s economic agenda, includes tax cuts, protections for workers’ pay, and border security enhancements.
In the video, workers from the auto, energy, trucking, and healthcare industries explain how the bill would help them keep more of their earnings. A recurring theme in the testimonials is support for the bill’s elimination of taxes on tips and overtime pay.
Donna Boyd, a nurse practitioner from North Carolina, highlighted how the bill would benefit frontline medical staff. “As nurses, we do pick up a lot of overtime, and I think that this will put a lot of hard-earned money back into American nurses’ pockets,” she said.
Kris Cranford of Deep Well Services echoed that sentiment from the oil sector, calling the tax break on overtime “massive” for energy workers. James Benson, an autoworker from Michigan, praised the legislation for delivering on Trump’s promises and called it a reinvigoration of the American middle class.
The bill also renews family-centered tax credits. Angelina, a representative from Moms for America, called the credits a “lifeline” and expressed strong support for Trump’s leadership. Theresa Thompson, a mother of a special needs adult son in New Jersey, also praised the bill’s potential benefits to her family.
Dee, a longtime truck driver, emphasized the broader economic boost: “When the economy is moving, we all win.” Maliki Krieski, a DoorDash driver and mother of a child with type 1 diabetes, praised the bill’s no-tax-on-tips policy, saying it helps families like hers survive.
The bill also addresses national security by funding the completion of the southern border wall and enabling at least one million removals annually. Pam Furrie, a grandmother in Arizona, pointed to the personal toll of lax immigration enforcement and voiced support for measures that prioritize American safety.
