The Trump Burger chain, a politically themed restaurant inspired by President Donald Trump, continues to expand across Texas, drawing both enthusiastic supporters and vocal critics. The Houston location, opened recently, features Trump-stamped buns and memorabilia honoring the 45th and 47th president.
Owner Roland Beainy, a Lebanese immigrant who moved to the U.S. in 2019, describes Trump as “a gentleman that makes peace.” Beainy plans to open additional locations in Galveston County and San Antonio.
Despite its popularity among Trump supporters, the chain has faced criticism from food critics. The Houston Chronicle noted that while the restaurant offers a heavily branded dining experience centered around Trump, the food quality is underwhelming, with burgers lacking flavor and culinary finesse.
The expansion has also sparked protests and calls for boycotts, particularly in Houston, where some residents argue the restaurant represents divisive political values.
Nevertheless, the Trump Burger chain continues to grow, with plans for new locations and a steady stream of customers drawn by its political theme and support for President Trump.
