Trump Appoints Tammy Bruce as U.S. State Department Spokesperson

President-elect Donald Trump has announced the appointment of Tammy Bruce, a political analyst, author, and Fox News contributor, as the U.S. State Department’s spokesperson. The announcement, made via Truth Social on Friday evening, highlighted Bruce’s credentials and her alignment with Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement.

In his statement, Trump praised Bruce as a “highly respected political analyst” who recognized the importance of MAGA early on. He also emphasized her transformation from a liberal activist in the 1990s to a prominent conservative voice.

“She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California and, after being a liberal activist in the 1990s, saw the lies and fraud of the Radical Left and quickly became one of the strongest conservative voices on radio and television,” Trump wrote.

He added that Bruce’s decades-long career as a news contributor has been marked by her commitment to delivering “truth to the American people.” Trump expressed confidence that Bruce would bring her “strength of conviction and fearless spirit” to her new role at the State Department.

Bruce will work alongside Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio in the incoming administration. Her appointment underscores Trump’s focus on appointing outspoken and loyal advocates of his administration’s policies to key positions.
