Congress Demands Answers on Mysterious Drones Over New Jersey

Members of Congress are “still in the dark” about the growing number of drone sightings across the Garden State and surrounding areas, according to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who is demanding answers from the government. Greene expressed concern over the unidentified drones flying over the Northeast, stating that the American public deserves transparency. Despite numerous requests for a classified briefing, she revealed that members of Congress remain uninformed. She criticized the Biden administration for downplaying the issue, claiming officials are offering vague explanations, such as attributing the sightings to airplanes, helicopters, or stars. “No one is buying it,” Greene declared, urging the government to “come clean.”

President-Elect Donald Trump also addressed the ongoing drone issue during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, suggesting that the government knows more than they are revealing. “The government knows what is happening,” Trump said, asserting that the military has detailed knowledge of the drone origins, including their launch points and destinations. He hinted at a lack of transparency, stating that officials “want to keep people in suspense,” even though they know where the drones came from and where they went.

Belleville Mayor Michael Melham added to the mystery, discussing the possibility that the drones are searching for something specific, potentially radioactive material. Melham revealed that New Jersey state police informed local authorities of drones flying in a grid-like pattern, which he believes indicates they are searching for something. He tied this to a recent incident where radioactive material went missing in New Jersey after a shipment was damaged during transit in early December. Melham speculated that the drones might be searching for this missing material, though he acknowledged that the situation remains unclear.

Despite mounting concerns from local officials and citizens, the federal government has been reluctant to provide clear answers. Melham emphasized the frustration felt by mayors and local governments, pointing out that they are receiving minimal information from both state and federal authorities. He called for transparency, urging the government to confirm whether the drones belong to the U.S. and what their purpose is. “We no longer stand for not hearing the truth,” he said, demanding accountability from the federal government.

The situation has left many wondering whether these mysterious drones are part of a larger security effort or if they are connected to a more pressing national threat. Local leaders, including Trump, are calling for more transparency from the government to reassure the public and clarify the drones’ purpose.
