Following Vice President Kamala Harris’s loss to President Donald Trump, billionaire and former Shark Tank star Mark Cuban has deleted his pro-Harris tweets.
Cuban, a vocal Harris supporter, explained that he has a longstanding habit of deleting old tweets, a claim he reiterated in response to scrutiny from the popular X/Twitter account, Libs of TikTok, which highlighted the deletions.
Cuban stated, “I’ve always gone back and deleted tweets. For years. Same with the 2020 election, 2016 election, and other topics. You can use the Wayback Machine if you really want to see them.”
Despite Cuban’s explanation, some social media users questioned his motives, suggesting he may be distancing himself after Harris’s defeat.
Throughout the campaign, Cuban praised Harris as a candidate capable of fostering an “opportunity economy” through her approach to regulation and support for small businesses.
