Tarrant County, Texas GOP Chairman Bo French reported a concerning issue where some voters selecting Donald Trump on the voting machine screen saw Kamala Harris listed on the final printed ballot.
“Today at 3:29pm I was notified of reports that voters were experiencing problems. Reports were that people who selected Trump on the screen were seeing Harris on the printed ballot. This was reported to the Election Judge and in at least one case the voter was issued a new ballot to vote again. I immediately reported this to the TC Elections Administrator,” French said.
The problem was brought to the attention of election officials after being noticed by multiple voters, with at least one voter receiving a new ballot to vote again. French notified the county’s Elections Administrator immediately after hearing about the reports.
French emphasized the importance of double-checking printed ballots to ensure the accuracy of selections.
“After your ballot is printed, make sure you check to make sure your selections are accurate!” he warned.
A Tarrant County voter expressed concern, noting that after selecting their candidate on the video screen, the printed ballot displayed a different name.
“I voted for one president, checked it on the video screen, when I got the paper ballot, it had the other candidate’s name on it,” a Tarrant County voter said. “Check your paper ballots everybody.”
French urged all voters to carefully review their paper ballots before submitting them to avoid any discrepancies.
