Secret Service Creates New Security Plan for Trump

The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has created a new security plan for Donald Trump, allowing him to hold outdoor rallies.

A Secret Service official confirmed to the Washington Post that Trump campaign events will feature bulletproof glass to serve as a shield.

“Former presidents and candidates don’t normally get bulletproof glass or support from DoD,” the official told the outlet. “This glass needs to be brought in on trucks and vans.”

The official explained that the Secret Service has begun placing ballistic glass around the country where it can be easily accessed for Trump campaign events.

Other “technical security assets” will be used, the Washington Post reported, although the official declined to explain what the assets are.

Indoor events, however, will not have the same protective measures, a source told Fox News.

Although Acting U.S. Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe approved the security plan, a whistleblower alleged that agents faced retaliation when they questioned the security measures during Trump’s July 13 rally.

Another whistleblower claimed the Secret Service turned down an offer from local law enforcement to use drones during the rally.
