Biden Family Reportedly Denies Campaign Exit Rumors

The Biden family has condemned reports that claim President Joe Biden may exit the 2024 presidential race.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates told NBC News, “[Biden’s exit] is not happening, period.”

“The individuals making those claims are not speaking for his family or his team — and they will be proven wrong. Keep the faith,” he added.

Jen O’Malley Dillon, Biden’s re-election campaign chair, said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Biden is “absolutely” in the race. “He is the best person to take on Donald Trump,” she asserted.

Others have said that Biden will remain in the race, despite concerns regarding his health and stability.

Senior adviser to Biden’s reelection campaign, T.J. Ducklo, wrote on social media, “Joe Biden is his party’s nominee. He’s the President of the United States. He’s running for reelection. Baseless conjecture from anonymous sources isn’t a scoop.”

The information comes as reports have claimed that Biden is “receptive” to calls to end his reelection campaign. Other reports have said that the president may announce his withdrawal as early as this weekend.

Despite officials claiming Biden will remain in the race, twenty-nine Democrats have urged him to drop his reelection campaign.
