Most Joe Biden supporters have admitted they are only voting for him as a vote “against” Donald Trump.
A recent survey from the Economist/YouGov found that most are not voting for the President based on his qualifications.
“Would you say you are mostly voting FOR Joe Biden or AGAINST Donald Trump?” the poll asked.
51 percent admitted that they are mostly voting “against” Trump, while 48 percent said they are mostly voting “for” Biden.
For Trump supporters, the survey revealed that 67 percent voting for him are doing so because they want him to be president, not a vote against Biden.
Last month, a Biden campaign spokeswoman confirmed that he “will be debating” Donald Trump before the upcoming election.
“President Biden has made it very clear he will be debating Donald Trump,” spokesperson Adrienne Elrod said at the time.
Donald Trump challenged Biden to a debate, saying, “ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANY PLACE!”
