Hillary Clinton Says Women Ditched Her in 2016 Because She Wasn’t ‘Perfect’

Former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claims she lost women voters in the last days of her 2016 campaign because she was “not perfect.”

“They left me because they just couldn’t take a risk on me, because as a woman, I’m supposed to be perfect,” Clinton told the New York Times in a recent interview.

“They were willing to take a risk on Trump — who had a long list of, let’s call them flaws, to illustrate his imperfection — because he was a man, and they could envision a man as president and commander in chief.”

In September 2023, Clinton claimed President Trump had been engaging in “projection” throughout his political career.

Clinton made the remarks about the former president in an interview at the timewith MSNBC host Jen Psaki.

“He recently said that he is very unlikely – it would be very unlikely that he would attempt to pardon himself. Do you believe him?” Psaki said.

“I don’t believe him on anything. Why would I start believing him on that?” Clinton replied.

“You know the thing about him – and I’m not the only one person who’s noticed this – is he engages in what psychologists call projection,” the former presidential candidate continued.
