Seattle Law Enforcement Ordered to Allow Protest During Rush Hour

Seattle, Washington law enforcement was told to allow a pro-Palestine demonstration to take place on a bridge during rush hour traffic.

More than 100 pro-Palestine activists protested on University Bridge, calling for a “ceasefire in Gaza.”

The bridge was closed for more than three hours.

A Seattle Police Department spokesperson told The Post Millennial, “This is a question regarding police tactics. This would be better suited for a PDR request. I am not free to discuss SPD tactics and strategies.”

A flyer reportedly connected to the situation provided a response to the demonstration’s criticism.

“We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you. We assume you have important places to get to and we truly apologize for the delay. We would not have taken this action if it weren’t an emergency of life or death for thousands, if not millions, of people.”
