Trump on Mask Mandate Rumors: ‘We Will Not Comply’

Donald Trump shared a video condemning the left-wing push to bring mask mandates.

“The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back Covid lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming,” Trump said.

“Gee whiz, you know what else is coming? An election.”

Trump said his opponents want to “restart Covid hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election.”

“Does that sound familiar?”

He said those who want to reinstate mask mandates are “bad,” “sick” people and told them to “hear these words: ‘We will not comply.'”

“We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates. And we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates.”

At the beginning of November, some of California’s Bay Area counties reimplemented mask mandates to prevent the spread of what officials described as a “tripledemic.”

According to ABC 7, several counties in the region — including Alameda, San Mateo, Contra Costa, and Sonoma — followed a “modified mask requirement,” forcing workers to wear masks in health care facilities.

Officials described the reason for the mandate as an attempt to combat a “tripledemic,” or a rise in coronavirus, the flu, and RSV this fall and winter season.
