Donald Trump has been endorsed by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA).
Speaking to CNBC, Johnson said, “I’m all in for President Trump.”
“I have endorsed [Trump] wholeheartedly,” Johnson said. “I was one of the closest allies that President Trump had in Congress. He had a phenomenal first term. Those first two years, as you all know, brought about the greatest economic numbers in the history of the world, not just the country, because his policies worked.”
“I’m all in for President Trump, I expect he’ll be our nominee. He’s gonna win it and we have to make Biden a one-term president,” he stated.

Discussing the Trump indictments, Johnson said, “I think this is motivated by political prosecutions, and we call it ‘lawfare.'”
“That’s what it is, it’s just another way to go after a candidate,” the Speaker noted. “What’s happened to Trump is unprecedented, and every time a new indictment drops, it follows after some favorable thing that he gets in a poll, or the election, or whatever.”
