Evidence of Corruption Leads to ‘Very Likely’ Biden Impeachment: Speaker Mike Johnson

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that it is “very likely” that President Joe Biden committed impeachable offenses.

“The reason we shifted to the impeachment inquiry stage on the president himself was because if, in fact, all the evidence leads where we believe it will, that’s very likely impeachment,” Johnson told Hannity.

He added that Congress is “going to follow the truth wherever it leads. We’re going to engage in due process because, again, we’re the rule-of-law party.”

Referring to the Democrats’ attempts to impeach Donald Trump, Johnson said, “I know people are getting anxious and they’re getting restless, and they just want somebody to be impeached, but we don’t do that like the other team.”

“We have to base it on the evidence,” the speaker stated.

American Faith previously reported that the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Accountability revealed direct financial connections between President Joe Biden and his family’s controversial business dealings.

Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced that the committee “obtained bank records revealing a $200,000 direct payment from James and Sara Biden to Joe Biden in the form of a personal check.”

Comer highlighted the nature of this transaction by saying, “James Biden wrote this check to Joe Biden as a ‘loan repayment.’ Americore—a distressed company—loaned money to James Biden who then sent it to Joe Biden.”

He voiced concern over the implications of this, stating that “it’s still troubling that Joe Biden’s ability to be paid back by his brother depended on the success of his family’s shady financial dealings.”
