Republicans in the House of Representatives celebrated their unanimous election of Mike Johnson (R-LA) for House Speaker.
“When Republicans come together, we deliver results, and that’s what we need to showcase ahead of 2024. We delivered this Majority to bring solutions to the American people. It’s time for Republicans to unite behind Speaker Johnson and get back to work,” Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said, Breitbart reported.
Conservative personality Rogan O’Handley tweeted, “Make no mistake, this is a HUGE victory,” adding, “For the 1st time in decades, We the People have a true voice in Congress.”

Murphy also released a statement of support for Johnson, which read in part, “Speaker Johnson’s conservative credentials are second to none, and I look forward to his leadership and vision for our country.”
