LGBT activists entered House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R) office to demand that Republicans support an AIDS program called PEPFAR.
PEPFAR is the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
“Pass PEPFAR now, McCarthy,” the protestors chant.
Six activists were arrested by Capitol Police.
The incident has been compared to January 6 insurrectionists, where a man placed his feet on the Speaker of the House’s deal and was given over a four-year prison sentence.

Reporting from Not the Bee:
The man who propped his feet on the Speaker of the House's desk on January 6th got four and a half years in prison. And he didn't even bother anyone. The man who took Pelosi's podium from one area of the capital to the other got 75 days in prison. Other people are getting 22 years even when they weren't there.
