First Lady Jill Biden Tests Positive for COVID-19 Despite Being Double-Vaccinated and Twice Boosted

Amid a backdrop of reportedly increasing COVID-19 cases nationwide, First Lady Jill Biden has tested positive for the virus for the second time since August 2022, raising questions about the efficacy of vaccinations.

Notably, Biden had not only received her initial vaccine doses but had also been administered two booster shots.

The official communication revealed, “This evening, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19.”

Presently, the 72-year-old is experiencing only mild symptoms and will be spending her time in isolation at the Biden residence in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

This recent development brings vaccine efficacy to the forefront of discussions, especially given the rigorous vaccination regimen Jill has undergone, as confirmed by her communications director in the previous year.

On a related note, President Biden underwent a COVID-19 test in response to his wife’s positive diagnosis.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “The President tested negative. The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms.”
