The border between Texas and Coahuila is one of the deadliest for migrants with at least 98 migrant deaths this year.
An unidentified woman was found in the Rio Grande near the Mexican border state of Coahuila.
The woman is believed to have drowned crossing the river into Texas.
The incident was the 98th death in the region.
Authorities recently carried out a rescue operation after 16 migrants were lost in the desert west of Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila.
Twelve of the individuals reached Texas and alerted authorities that four were still missing after human smugglers left them behind.
