Andy Ngo Awarded 300K After Antifa Defendants Failed To Defend Themselves in Court

Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo was awarded $300,000 after three alleged Antifa defendants did not defend themselves in court as part of a lawsuit.

The lawsuit accused the Antifa members of assault during a 2019 protest in Portland, Oregon.

Ngo gave his unchallenged testimony in the trial.

On June 29, 2019, Ngo was reportedly attacked by alleged Rose Antifa members while reporting.

The individuals allegedly behind the attack are Madison Allen, Katherine Belyea, and Joseph Evans, who goes by the legal name Sammich Overkill Schott-Deputy.

Ngo revealed that he underwent cognitive therapy and developed post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the incident.

Reporting from The Blaze:

In addressing the damages, [attorney Dorothy Yamamoto] submitted evidence to the court that included an invoice of $1,405.60 for an ambulance service. There was also a receipt from Apple for $1,827.90 concerning Ngo's phone that was broken during the attack.

Ngo also had a security system installed at his family's home out of fear of ongoing threats. Yamamoto provided a receipt showing that Ngo paid $560.00 for security cameras that also came with a $57.99 monthly fee. Additionally, the security cameras came with a $829.00 installation fee.
