Twitter CEO Elon Musk officially announced over the weekend that the social media giant is undergoing a complete rebranding, including a new name and logo.
Court documents revealed earlier this year that Twitter merged with a newly formed group called X Corp., and relocated to Nevada.
Musk also tweeted a cryptic “X” in April 2023, not providing any context or further information.
While Twitter has not yet released any statements, the billionaire hinted at the upcoming transformation.
“And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” Musk said Saturday.

But Musk didn’t stop there. In a move indicative of his unconventional business tactics, he threw a worldwide open challenge: “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make it go live worldwide tomorrow.”
