President Joe Biden, who officially announced his re-election bid more than a month ago, is scheduled to hold his first 2024 presidential campaign rally on Saturday.
He is set to speak to union members at an event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The commander in chief, who is currently the oldest president in American history, would be 86 years old by the end of a second term if he were to win in 2024.
From The Blaze:
The General Board of the AFL-CIO has voted in favor of backing the president and vice president for re-election. The American Federation of Teachers has thrown its support behind the Biden-Harris ticket in the Democratic presidential primary. "President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are the most pro-labor, pro-public education leaders our country has seen in modern history," AFT President Randi Weingarten said, according to a press release.
