Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) said Cathay Bank provided records revealing that millions of dollars were given to Hunter Biden from Chinese companies.
The records detailed transactions from CFEC China Energy, a now-defunct firm.
Hudson West II, owned by Hunter Biden and Gongwen Dong, a business associate of CEFC’s founder, and chairman Ye Jianming, received $1 million from the firm.
