A Florida judge has dismissed Trump’s case regarding the FBI’s seizure of materials from Mar-a-Lago. U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon dismissed the case due to a “lack of jurisdiction.”
From One America News:
Cannon directed the DOJ to cease utilizing the seized materials in its investigation against Trump as part of her order until Dearie had finished his assessment. According to the judges of the appeals court, Cannon’s order constituted a “needless judicial intrusion” into the proceedings. “It is indeed extraordinary for a warrant to be executed at the home of a former president — but not in a way that affects our legal analysis or otherwise gives the judiciary license to interfere in an ongoing investigation,” the panel said.
