$45 Million Paid to Victims of Covid Vax Injury in Thailand

Thailand pays out roughly $45 million to victims of COVID-19 vaccines so far.

• The nation has paid out around $45 million in damages to those who have developed an illness or injury due to COVID-19 vaccines.
• So far, 12,714 people have received the compensation per a report by the Phenom Penh Post.
• In total, 15,933 people filed complaints of negative reactions to COVID-19 vaccines, according to data from Thailand’s National Health Security Office.
• Of those reports, the NHSO said 2,328 complaints were ruled to not be connected to the vaccinations. However, 875 of those denials are under appeal while another 891 are pending consideration.
