300,000 U.K. Residents Have Potentially Fatal Heart Condition

A scientific report discovered that some 300,000 Brits are living with heart disease that could kill them within five years of diagnosis.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Researchers in the UK and Australia released a report stating that around 300,000 UK citizens are living with a condition that could kill them within five years according to The Sun.
  • The heart condition, Aortic Valve Stenosis, can be hard to detect because it shows no clear symptoms in about 1 out of 3 cases.
  • The more severe cases cause dizziness, fatigue, trouble sleeping, and rapid heartbeat, however, it’s often too far advanced for effective treatment by the time those symptoms present.
  • AS is caused by the aortic valve being too narrow at its start, causing decreased blood flow.
  • The findings come as links are being made in peer-reviewed medical journals between the Covid-19 vaccine and myocarditis, an inflammatory disease of the heart (more on this in the “Background” section below).
ABOUT THE RESEARCH:
  • Cardiologist Geoffrey Strange from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney was part of the team tasked with assessing how many people might be affected by the condition, according to Euro Weekly
  • “In conclusion, this study suggests that severe [aortic stenosis] is a common condition affecting many individuals within the UK population aged 55 [and older],” the pair said in their study.
  • “Without appropriate detection and intervention, their survival prospects are likely to be poor.”
BACKGROUND:
  • The study also attempted to ascertain how other issues, such as high blood pressure, diabetes or advanced age, might impact the condition.
  • According to The National File, there is also a belief that a large pool of undiagnosed individuals with AS might exist in the older population.
  • Dr. Peter McCullough has recently shared skepticism over Covid-19 vaccines being used worldwide, claiming the risks and side effects were being downplayed.
  • On the “Joe Rogan Experience,” McCullough said, “There’s a four to six fold increase in myocarditis in children that are vaccinated versus the amount of children that are hospitalized from COVID for all causes. So they’re four to six times more likely to get myocarditis than they are to even be hospitalized for covert, which is crazy, right? That’s the Hoeg analysis, not disputed by the FDA. There’s another point.”
