254 Illegal Aliens On Terrorism Watch List Have Entered the U.S. Under Biden

The number of foreigners entering the United States on the terrorist screening list has increased ninefold since Biden took office.

QUICK FACTS:
  • The number of foreigners entering the United States on the terrorist screening list has exploded since President Joe Biden took office in 2021.
  • So far, in fiscal year 2023 alone, 140 people with ties to terrorism have been stopped at border checkpoints, up from 98 in 2022 and 16 in 2021.
  • Comparatively, only three illegal immigrants from terrorism lists crossed the border in the last year of Trump’s presidency.
  • “This un-secure border, it’s not simply a threat from possible criminals and others in South America, there are people from a variety of countries, not just China, who I think are sneaking in,” said CIA analyst Fred Fleitz, who served as chief of staff to the National Security Council under former President Trump.
  • According to experts, the rapid growth in illegals crossing the U.S. border with ties to terrorism is a warning sign that countries may be attempting to sneak in potential terror cells.

“We literally could have the next terrorist sleeper cell in United States planning a terrorist attack, and we would have no idea,” Morgan said.

BACKGROUND:
  • Earlier last week, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), raised serious concerns over the handling of illegal immigration by the Biden administration.
  • According to the organization, there has been a 121% surge in daily illegal border encounters since Biden took office.
  • “Encounters of illegal migrants by the Border Patrol at the Southwest Border were down in June, but only because the Biden administration has invented other means of allowing large numbers of inadmissible aliens to enter the country,” FAIR’s president, Dan Stein said.
  • He criticized the administration’s approach, stating that it seemed more focused on making illegal immigration “less visible to the American public” rather than attempting to control it.
  • Stein contrasted the current situation with that under the Trump administration, remarking, “Under the highest year of the Trump administration, in 2019, average monthly encounters were 95,668, or roughly 3,100 per day.”
  • FAIR’s president also suggested that the Biden administration was using indirect methods to allow migrants to enter the US.
  • “Their strategy entails redirecting migrants away from crossing between ports of entry, by allowing them to enter through land ports of entry or to fly directly to the United States,” he claimed.
  • Stein also accused the administration of “blatant abuse of parole authority” and encouraging illegal migrants to use the CBP One phone app.
  • Further, Stein addressed the broader impact of these strategies on American society.
  • He emphasized, “Those who are entering through these back channels illegally created by the administration are still illegal aliens and still impose the same burdens on communities and taxpayers struggling to cope with the impact of Biden’s policies.”
