18 Killed in Maine Mass Shooting, FBI Agents in Standoff

Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D) said that at least 18 people have been killed and 13 individuals injured after a gunman opened fire in a bowling alley and a bar.

“There is an active shooter situation in the city of Lewiston. Law enforcement is asking people to shelter in place,” the Maine State Police warned after the incident. “Please stay inside your home with the doors locked. Law enforcement is currently investigating at two locations right now. Again please stay off the streets and allow law enforcement to diffuse the situation. If you see any suspicious activity or individuals please call 911.”

The Gateway Pundit reported that agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are in a standoff with shooting suspect Robert Card.

Other news outlets reported that “loud bangs” were heard at the scene in Bowdoin, Maine.
