Whoopi Goldberg Slams Kash Patel in Wild FBI Rant

On Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg lashed out at FBI Director Kash Patel, claiming even a dog would do a better job leading the bureau. Her remarks followed criticism from co-host Sunny Hostin, who blasted Patel’s qualifications and blamed President Trump for the state of the agency.

Hostin declared Patel’s appointment a “disgrace,” citing his lack of senior law enforcement experience and absence of any Senate-confirmed position. She referenced a leaked 115-page report, reportedly heading to Congress, which describes Patel as “in over his head” and leading an agency paralyzed by fear and low morale.

According to Hostin, the FBI, under Patel, is failing in its core mission to defend the nation from internal and external threats. She directly blamed President Trump for choosing Patel to lead what she described as a “chronically underperforming agency.”

Goldberg built on the criticism, expressing broad frustration with the current administration’s leadership across multiple government agencies. She claimed that “none of the people in charge know what the hell they’re doing,” naming the FBI, the Department of Health, and the Department of Education as examples.

In a moment of hyperbole, Goldberg suggested that even a dog would perform better as FBI Director, highlighting her contempt for Patel’s leadership. “You put your dog in charge of the FBI, and they do a better job. I mean, come on,” she said.

Goldberg ended her rant by encouraging viewers to use their vote to “clean the slate,” suggesting that voters have the power to reverse the perceived dysfunction by electing new leadership.

The remarks reflect growing hostility from left-wing media personalities toward President Trump’s appointees as the administration continues reshaping federal institutions under its second term.
