White House Employee Wants to Remove Trump

The O’Keefe Media Group released undercover videos of White House employees discussing desires to remove President Trump.

One employee, Benjamin Ellisten, a Budget Analyst Manager within the Executive Office of the President, stated, “We have to get rid of Trump.” He called President Trump a “madman” and said that his colleagues “can’t know” his opinion about the president.

“With him at the top, it’s next to impossible to do anything, like, he’s a madman, literally. He’s invincible. Nothing can stop him, and that’s dangerous,” he said, further arguing that “the way his decisions are so erratic, you would think he drinks. He doesn’t drink. And that’s what makes it so dangerous, that somebody could be of sound mind and body, totally coherent, could just be so reckless in their decision-making. That’s scary.”

“He should never be president, it’s, for me, it’s that simple,” Ellisten added. “That’s where it stops.”

“This individual has been placed on administrative leave while we conduct a review and investigation,” a White House official told Daily Caller reporter Rebeka Zeljko. “He has no direct access to the President or Senior Staff, and does not work on the White House campus. Such views expressed by the individual are not reflective of patriots who admirably serve in the Administration.”

Ellisten’s comments are concerning as another employee, Maxim Lott, a Special Assistant to President Trump on the White House Domestic Policy Council, said policy decisions are often made on what “feels like a good idea,” sometimes without the involvement of Trump. Lott noted that officials make decisions on what they perceive to be Trump’s preference, and think to themselves, “I think I know the president well enough to say what he would say on this.”

Concerns were raised as Ellisten could be entrusted to make decisions for the Trump administration, despite his staunch disagreement with the White House’s agenda.
