Website Claims to Expose Personal Information of Tesla Owners

A website called “Dogequest” claims to share the personal information of Tesla owners across the United States, according to a report from 404 Media.

The site contains people’s names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, the report says. Names will be removed from the website if an individual can prove they no longer own a Tesla.

The website states, “If you’re on the hunt for a Tesla to unleash your artistic flair with a spray can, just step outside—no map needed! At DOGEQUEST, we believe in empowering creative expressions of protest that you can execute from the comfort of your own home.”

One person listed on the website spoke to the outlet and confirmed they own a Tesla.

404 Media wrote that the website is the latest means of protest against Tesla amid several attacks against the company’s facilities.

Last week, a Tesla Model S was deliberately set on fire in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Vandals also spray-painted six Tesla Cybertrucks with profanity and swastikas at a dealership in Lynnwood, Washington.

Additionally, an Illinois woman was arrested after allegedly vandalizing a newly constructed Tesla service center in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, authorities confirmed.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi condemned the attacks on Tesla property, calling the acts “domestic terrorism.”

“The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism,” Bondi said in a statement. “The Department of Justice has already charged several perpetrators with that in mind, including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences.”
