An estimated 150,000 illegal immigrants are expected to overwhelm the U.S. border starting Thursday when the Biden administration ends Title 42.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Video footage revealed an estimated 150,000 undocumented immigrants ready to surge the southern border as Title 42 is set to end Thursday.
  • According to a report by CNN, 60,000 migrants are camping out in Chihuahua, 35,000 in Tamaulipas, and another 25,000 in Coahuila.
  • Fox News reporter Bill Melugin described the crisis as an “absolute free for all.”
  • “Just an absolute free for all of illegal crossings from Matamoros, MX into Brownsville, TX with apparently zero resistance or deterrence on the US side…at least in this location. We continue to see a large majority of the crossings being single adults,” Melugin said.
  • Melugin claimed that if NGO’s don’t have room for the influx of migrants, Border Patrol will be directed to release migrants on the streets.
  • “Per multiple CBP sources, last night, CBP & Border Patrol leadership made the decision to authorize all Border Patrol sectors to begin ‘safe’ street releases of migrants to communities across border *if* NGO shelters and CBP facilities do not have the capacity to hold them,” Melugin said.
  • “This means in coming days we will likely begin to see mass releases of migrants at bus stops, gas stations, supermarkets, etc in communities across the border as illegal crossings continue to surge to record highs ahead of T42 drop in 2 days,” he continued.
FOX NEWS REPORTER BILL MELUGIN ON THE BIDEN ADMIN AND THE BORDER CRISIS:

“You can’t have your secretary of Homeland Security constantly testifying under oath that the border is secure. Then have the president go down there and have waves of people coming in the river behind you,” Melugin said.

BACKGROUND:
  • According to a number of reports, around 40% of attempted illegal border crossings have been expelled from the U.S. with Title 42 in effect, but as the protection comes to an end the border is expected to see an unprecedented surge of people coming into the country.
  • “Border Patrol shared with us their intelligence that there are approximately 700,000 [illegals], as of three weeks ago, in the shelters in Mexico waiting to come into the United States,” Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines said during a recent Board of Supervisors meeting.
  • Even with Title 42 in place, more than 6 million illegal immigrants have already been allowed into the United States under the Biden administration.
  • Melugin shared sky video footage of hundreds of illegal aliens crossing into Brownsville Texas earlier this week.
  • According to the Fox News reporter, Border Patrol has reported nearly 55,000 apprehensions and more than 18,000 gotaways in just one week.
  • “These are some of the highest weekly totals I have ever seen – and Title 42 hasn’t even dropped yet. Stunning numbers – especially that many gotaways in a single week,” Melugin said.
