Vance Says Pro-Lifers Have ‘Ally in the White House’

Vice President JD Vance told pro-lifers during the March for Life rally that they have an “ally in the White House” and encouraged them to seek a “culture of life.”

“Let me tell you something very simple,” Vance told the crowd. “Under this administration, again for the President of the United States, the Vice President, you have an ally in the White House.”

He criticized policies from the Biden administration, condemning it for incarcerating pro-lifers and mandating that taxpayer dollars go to abortion initiatives.

“We are trying to argue to our fellow citizens that we must build up that culture of life. And as you know, that effort is going to take a lot of time, it’s going to take a lot of energy, and it’s going to take a little bit of money, and that’s why we’re here,” he said, adding that “we’re marching for life because we want our wonderful fellow Americans, even if they don’t disagree with us, to know that life is worthy. It is worthy of protection, and that is why we march today.”

“All of us in the Trump administration, from the president on down, we thank you for your prayers. We thank you for your perseverance, and today, we are all marching for life,” he said.

During last year’s March for Life, Vance declared that “every single child is a miracle and gift from God.”

“Let me say very simply, I want more babies in the United States of America,” he added. “I want more happy children in our country, and I want beautiful young men and women who are eager to welcome them into the world and eager to raise them. And it is the task of our government to make it easier for young moms and dads to afford to have kids, to bring them into the world, and to welcome them as the blessing that we know they are here at the March for Life.”
